NORTHERN IRELAND.
Role: Designer and fabricator
In collaboration with: Forum for Alternative Belfast
Forum for Alternative Belfast was a not-for-profit organization that campaigned for a more equitable built environment in the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The forum was celebrated across Europe and represented the United Kingdom at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2012.
The Belfast City Model highlights the social and environmental pain-points of the city as well as outlining design proposals that may begin to heal the lingering scars and inequities of the city following its years of segregation and sectarian violence. The model went on exhibition at the Golden Thread Gallery as part of the “Belfast/a method” exhibition and later at the University of Ulster.
